Video of Hudson Saying Fruit Loops

This morning Hudson said he wanted fruit loops, and I thought it sounded funny so I took this video. Its not really all that exciting but I figured the Grandparents might get a laugh out of it.

Pray for Nit

I'm not sure how many times we have made a prayer request asking for prayer for Nit, a Thai lady who helps us with our housework. A month or so ago, she went a few days without coming to work. We resolved that with a warning. Today she came into work after missing over a week of work (without telling us). Because she didn't work more than she did work, and we haven't seen her in a week, we decided to make the difficult call not to have her come back to work. It was very hard, especially since she lives in our village. That means lots of gossip and lots of hurt feelings. Please pray that this will not negatively affect our ministry here. Pray that we will still be able to be close to Nit's family. Also, pray for Nit, as she is saddened that she does not have a job. Pray that she will be able to find a new job quickly.

Please pray for some older ladies in our village

Just recently, Pamela and I were out walking around in a part of our village that we have not visited very often. We ran into some quite a few older ladies, one younger lady, and a lot of kids who called us over to talk to them. They invited me to come study some of the local language (Kui) with them. After a couple of days I returned and learned some basic words in the Kui language (granted my Thai is not terrific yet, and starting a new language is very difficult, but hey, it sounds like fun to me). God gave me the opportunity with this group of older ladies (about 4 or 5), one young lady (about 28), and about 8 kids or so, to share a quick presentation of the Gospel. Pray that they will respond and that their hearts will be soften. Also pray that I'll have many more opportunities to share with them. One of my "Big Prayers" is that we could start a Bible Study group for non-believers in our village, and if they are interested, these ladies would be a great place to start. Thanks for your prayers.
